Ladies and Gentlemen:
Madame Rossamund Peregrine presents her clockwork courier pigeons ^_^

I got such a good response from this in another LJ community I thought I might share it further:

Well, it's general geek humor, but with the paper craft tie-in, I just had to share:

With R2-D2 mailboxes popping up across America, thanks to the U.S Postal Service and Lucasfilm, fans can celebrate 30 years of Star Wars and mail letters at the same time.

But if you can't find a R2-D2 mailbox near you, make this cool papercraft 3-D model of the mailbox for your action figures! Just print out this handy PDF on sturdy paperstock and follow the directions to make your very own mini R2-D2 mailbox.

I am not sure how many of you already know about this place, but here you go: Canon's Creative Park. They have TONS of printable crafts ranging from Chinese Dragons to an Airbus. They also have lovely origami paper that you can print out as well.  It's a goldmine.

Dragon Illusion Papercraft

This is a wonderful optical illusion. This little dragon is made out of paper - you simply cut it out and stick it together, and stand it on a table or window ledge. But when you move around, the dragon's head seems to follow you around the room. Have a look at the video, to see what I mean. The effect is really uncanny.

Scroll down to Spiky Baby or Mask Hoody.

It's similar to the Readymechs, only you can't choose your designs. You click on the box and it will randomly display one of many paper kits. I think it's rather cool. They have many designs, so it kind of feels like you're collecting them. Also note, refreshing doesn't work. You can even get a paper craft box to store them in.

I've got most of them from Series 5. I'm just missing the "P" and "K" from the blue basic Spiky Baby set. I can totally trade with anyone if you get those.
